Embed slideshow and YouTube video in Windows Live Spaces

Windows Live Spaces is developped by Microsoft, with Windows Live Spaces, you can create a free personal Web site to share your thoughts and adventures with friends, family, or the whole world. Think of it as your online communications hub! Create and share photo albums, publish a blog, put together dynamic slide shows, and much more.

Before you embed the slideshow in Windows Live Spaces, you need to upload the slideshow to go2ablum. You need to sign up an account of go2ablum at first, it’s free. When you publish the slideshow, please select Create flash files and upload to go2ablum. After you uploaded the slideshow successfully, you will be led to the slideshow page automatically. In the opened page, copy the the embed code of the slideshow.

If you want to embed a YouTube video, just do it in the same way.

Then open Windows Live Spaces website and sign in, click Add a blog entry.

Then you will be led to the section like the picture below.

There are two ways to embed slideshow and YouTube video. The first one is html mode. Click HTML in the right side of the toolbar, and the tool bar will turn gray, and then you can paste the copied embed code in the blank section.

The second way is to click Embed videos button. After you clicked the button, a dialog will pop up and you can paste the copied embed code too.

Click Save button. Then you can click Preview entry button to have a preview or click Publish entry to publish the slideshow or YouTube video. It's simple and easy!
